  • Authentic high-waisted wide-leg trousers with front pleats, crafted from high-quality tailoring fabric following the original 1945 pattern and 'Demob' specification. Featuring striped waistband lining and buttons for braces, these trousers include turn-ups, just as they were worn for the first time after WWII. 

     

    Our men's trousers come with a pair of complimentary braces to complete the look.

     

    Important: The inside leg measurement is 1 inch shorter than your usual trousers to allow for the loose 1940s fit. Please order one size larger than your modern trousers for the correct fit, as these sit at the navel, which is typically higher than the waistband on modern trousers.

Almost perfect!
The trousers are very high quality and give an amazing silhouette. I have received a number of compliments about them when wearing.
The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is I wish the rise was a little longer. The trousers sit wonderfully at my natural waist (navel) and the inseam is perfect. However, the seam of the crotch is touching undercarriage, not in an uncomfortable way but an extra inch or so would increase comfort levels (for context I’m 188cm tall).
