Authentic high-waisted wide-leg trousers with front pleats, crafted from high-quality tailoring fabric following the original 1945 pattern and 'Demob' specification. Featuring striped waistband lining and buttons for braces, these trousers include turn-ups, just as they were worn for the first time after WWII.

Important: The inside leg measurement is 1 inch shorter than your usual trousers to allow for the loose 1940s fit. Please order one size larger than your modern trousers for the correct fit, as these sit at the navel, which is typically higher than the waistband on modern trousers.

Very good fit , one pocket slight smaller cut to the other . Slight , what looks like food finger print inside waist band .. who is ever doing qaulity control, should up their game .. i liked the fit and length needed alterations, so kept them .

We're ever so sorry to hear that your trousers have a stain on them and the pockets weren't quite right. If the stain was there from the moment you opened your new trousers, please email us and we'll be happy to reimburse you for the dry cleaning charges if you've kept a copy of the receipt. A photo of the stain via email would also help us investigate further.

They hang really well, nice material not too heavy for dancing. They look great.
