Goodwood Revival is back from 18th- 20th September 2026, and we’re already thinking about one of our favourite parts of the weekend: the outfits!

Every year, Goodwood Motor Circuit is transformed into a celebration of the golden age of motor racing, with fabulous vintage fashion everywhere you look. From elegant dresses and perfectly styled separates to victory rolls, red lipstick and vintage accessories, it’s the perfect excuse to step back in time.

THE CLASSIC 1940s DRESS

Sometimes, one fabulous dress is all you need.

A classic 1940s-style dress is perhaps the easiest way to create the complete Revival look. Think flattering waists, elegant skirts, pretty prints, and those unmistakable 1940s features. CHANNEL 1940s HOLLYWOOD GLAMOUR

Take inspiration from the leading ladies of the 1940s silver screen with elegant silhouettes and beautifully fitted dresses.

A LITTLE ‘LA DOLCE VITA’ FOR 2026 🇮🇹

For 2026, Goodwood is celebrating La Dolce Vita, bringing a touch of mid-century Italian chic to the weekend.

Although our hearts will always belong to the 1940s, it’s easy to give your Seamstress outfit a little Italian-inspired flourish. Think beautiful sunglasses, silk scarves, and effortlessly glamorous accessories. A scarf tied around the hair or neck is an especially easy way to give a classic 1940s outfit a subtle Mediterranean feel while keeping your overall look unmistakably vintage.

PREPARE FOR BRITISH SEPTEMBER WEATHER

Vintage glamour is important. Staying warm and dry is rather important, too.

Anyone who has experienced a British September will know that Goodwood weather can be unpredictable, so layering is your friend. An outfit paired with knitwear gives you plenty of flexibility throughout the day. A jacket or coat (depending on the forecast) can also become part of the outfit rather than something thrown over it.

And remember: comfortable shoes are essential.
